It's normally a good way to keep in the good books, so I'd encourage it. Especially if you've just been up to mischief.

All of a sudden I feel like calling someone a ragamuffin.

And in case you don't know, raga looks kinda like little cut bits of colorful yarn, mixed with sequins.

All this talk of bacon has made me realise I really need to try vegetarian bacon!! There's no reason I should miss out just because I've gone vegetarian!

Sofia: vegetarian bacon sounds great, I didn't know that even exists! What is it like? I want to try it, too. I'm not a vegetarian, but we are trying with my boyfriend to cook food with less meat than usually, so that at least couple days a week we'd have fully vegetarian meal. :)

I spent quite some time on a vegan diet. The only time I felt like I was missing out was when I went to a restaurant, and that was only because most restaurants have very few - if any - vegan options.

It takes a lot of thought, planning, and effort, but if you make sure you maintain a balanced diet it is incredibly healthy. I felt so good once my body adjusted to the vegan diet, everything was just in perfect balance. I had so much energy.

I would encourage anyone on such a diet - or considering such a diet - to plan everything carefully, and be certain that you aren't missing something important in your diet as a result of the change. Protein is the obvious one, but iron is something that is frequently overlooked. If you aren't able to get everything you need through food, there is an amazing variety of supplements available; speak to a doctor/pharmacist/nutritionist before making any drastic changes or adding supplements to your diet.

That makes it sound overwhelming, but it really isn't. The health benefits are certainly worth the effort involved!

I feel much the same way about AIP. There are no AIP menu options, so I never get to go out with friends (or colleagues, or family, or anyone) for a meal anymore. It's lonely and depressing.
