Luna: At least it is over now. Whenever I'm stressed I always just look at the night sky from my bedroom window, it really helps me to relax; although I have had some weird looks from the neighbours before! I read on another thread that you have 8 exams a semester, I have 4 exams a semester (2.5 hours each), and that is more than enough for me! Are your exams in January?

Elyss: Hopefully the final went really well, best of luck!

Everyone else: All of you guys talking about re-reads I'm only on Book 8 (my first time!). I originally read the first 7 between May and August but then University started and I had to forgo reading, I've nearly finished 8 though, it's funny how I start reading again when exams are quickly approaching...

My life: We've started yet another group project and once again the other members are not helping at all. On Monday one person in the group didn't even participate at all, he just sat there and did work for another module. I even spoke to them nicely about their lack of help and they just shrugged it off, fortunately our tutor (the person who marks the projects) gives a percentage of the overall mark of the project to each member based upon their contribution, so that was nice to hear!
This may well bore the non-maths lovers out there, but we are learning some really interesting things about countable sets and infinite sets, cardinality etc. We also learnt of a way to construct the real numbers from the rational numbers via Dedekind Cuts. It is truly amazing when one thinks about some of the concepts we cover :D

Elyss, I'm sure you knocked their socks off!

Glad to see other people having as much fun with exams as I am right now :desk I've got my hardest exam tomorrow morning and i've been studying for the last 2 days straight - I think my brain is going to melt soon

Zanus that is my absolute least favourite part of group projects - hopefully this person will get better as the project goes on and if they don't at least their grade will reflect their contribution.

Well Zanus, the joke'll be on them when you get out into the professional world & you get the promotion while they get laid off at Christmas because their performance for the year hasn't been up to snuff :)

I've been quite busy lately too, 6 days a week of work here too + sorting and packing my stuff for moving & getting my nice shiny refurbished Thinkpad performing its best (it definitely needs a new battery - the one it arrived with had less than half its original maximum juice remaining - and I ought to also get another 8GB SODIMM while they are still cheap so that I have matched memory modules and full performance).

*starts gathering logs for the next bonfire since we're going to need a new thread shortly*

It's good to see you back again Zanus :) I'm sorry your teamwork isn't going well. I hated group projects when I was in public school.

Does this mean a raising test is soon in your future?

It sure is. *studies astutely*

Should I get the Kool-Aid ready?

Awesome. I love Kool-Aid!

That would be wonderful! Take your time exploring, though, if you wish. Guesting can be fun; even if you do not think you will end up in an Ajah, it is nice to be there a while, perhaps meet some people you have not yet met, observe the dynamic, etc. :pleased-1:

Thanks so much. Can't wait to guest.

Are we meant to migrate now to a different place to set up camp and a bonfire? :scratch

ETA: Never mind, I noticed just now that Mayor Kass has already been busy with that!
