-laughs- this is wonderful. I'm afraid I had to change my avatar, though. I found out another had the same one. I am searching for another. I'm naturally a redhead, though in my picture, my hair was recently dyed.

I loved seeing the details of the Tower in New Spring. It cleared up a lot for me and, since I love to know how things are run, it built the story up so much higher.

um. I do have a question, though. Is it bad that I already have an Ajah that I want to join? I want to guest with them all, just to be sure that the one I like is right for me, but there is already one in my mind.

It is definitely recommended that you wait to think about that until you are an Accepted and it's definitely better to go into guesting with an open mind. Many people want to join a certain Ajah and by the time they get to Accepted they realize that they fit better with a complete different Ajah than they thought. So get to know every one while you're a citizen/novice and leave the figuring out your home until you have to worry about it.

I think its natural to have an idea of where you may end up but I agree with keeping an open mind there were ajahs I. Had not even considered that once I guested they were my runner ups guesting is a great experience and its hard to rein yourself in but enjoy it to the fullest when you get there

Thank you, Roheryn Sedai and Alora. Since I've been reading a bit into the Ajah's, I've changed my mind. I still have a connection to the one but now there are two others that I really like. I'll just do as you said and keep my mind open and guest at all of the Ajahs once that time comes.

And I hear you on that, reading about the Ajahs on this site really helped me make up my mind as to which Ajah I chose.

You'll start as a citizen, and then eventually to the Tower as a Novice. You don't get to guest with ajahs until you are an Accepted. As a novice, your job will be to get to know the site and your roommates and fellow JM's. Your opinions now may be totally different once you guest as an Accepted. The best advice is to keep an open mind and don't let your opinions now color your opinions in the future. Great question, btw!

Thank you, Nymala Sedai. Since reading about the Ajahs, I am no longer as certain as I was. I still feel a strong connection to the one Ajah but I am going to keep an open mind and guest in all the Ajahs, not making any kind of decision until I have visited them all and learned more about them, and about myself.

I have updated my profile. I hope that it doesn't offend anyone. I posted something in it about myself that I am a bit worried about as I have been targeted badly for it before and run out of forums. The people here seem much more accepting of others so I took the chance and posted it. If anything in my profile offends anyone, please let me know and I will take it out of the profile. I am hoping, though, that I can make friends that will accept what I am.
