In the Library under the Citizen section is a form to fill out to apply, and you must find two senior members (Gaidin or Aes Sedai) to sponsor you. To do this, just interact in some of the threads in the Tavern and don't be shy about PMing someone you have a lot in common with, and ask! Most SMs are happy to help If you have any questions I'm also happy to help!
Also, if you would like to stay a citizen for longer, thats ok too! There is no rush Hope everything's going well for you

Help, please? I need to make a profile with the same name I used on my application. but I used two different names because I didn't know that the names would have to be the same. do I make a new account or is there a name change option?

Hi Luna , I don't think I have seen anyone using that Avatar.

As you should go into all the Ajahs open minded but, for now you should enjoy becoming a Citizen and put the Ajahs out of your mind til you cross that bridge . Once you become a Citizen you will earn the Tavern thread and all the Ajahs have a thread in there ....you can get to know some of the members from that Ajah . We have a lot of fun things you can do as a Citizen just wait til you are here for a free week :halo .

Hello, Kass. -blushes and smiles- The Green Ajah is the one that I want to join. I want to make sure that it is where I belong but as of right now, the entire time I've been reading the books, it is the one I always felt the strongest connection to. I also have a connection to the Brown Ajah, but not quite as strongly.
I get a lot of my graphics from magickalgraphics.com and I am trying to find another one that fits my personality. Do I have to go through all of the Who's Who profiles to check to see if an avatar is taken?
I recently put in my application to become a Citizen and I am hoping to have my avatar figured out by the time the Mayor gets the application. I know she is at Dragon Con right now, which gives me a little bit of time.

There is a thread in the Introduction thread that has a list of places you can find another Avatar .

Yes , you can change the Avatars up until you go into the Tower as a Novice, I believe once you become a Citizen you may have to post into the Avatar change thread.

As you brought up about guesting with all the Ajahs ... it would be a good idea a lot of people found their home where they never thought it would be. :halo I am a proud Green :green Aspirant

I changed the picture to one of myself, at least for now. I prefer to have one more oriented to what the site is about but this should work for the moment, until I can have another picture taken, shouldn't it?

Thank you very much. I'm having a lot of fun browsing the site and the forums. I've read a lot of the Membership Manual and love the way it is set up here. I'm working on finding forum topics that interest me and come across a few. I think I'll be able to put in my citizen application by tomorrow, though I won't be checking for a response for a few days. I am thinking about waiting a few days to even submit it. I don't want to over-load the Mayor just as she gets back from her vacation. It just seems rude to me. I do thank you so much for the welcome. With my addiction to the WoT series, finding this site was an unexpected but delightful blessing.

The stickies in the introduction forum will tell you everything you need to know The first thing though is how to become a citizen. Just browse around the site, posting in any topic you can see, and once you get to 25 posts you can apply to become a citizen of Tar Valon. Citizens have access to more forums and also can private message people, and once you are a citizen for a month you can apply to join the White Tower as a Novice We'll help you do that when the time comes, don't worry!
