Hello Tar Valon!

I am an avid WoT reader, lover and player. I love role play and I am a healer by profession. IRL, I consider myself a fully realized Sister of the Yellow Ajah, though I totally respect the ranks here on this site and look forward to proving myself. I specialize in healing using plants in all their forms; Herbalism, aromatherapy, flower essences. I am also a Reiki practitioner. I play D&D, read, garden, heal others, hike, fire dance, do yoga and model for fun.

I am so happy to be here on this site and look forward to discovering the magick hidden in the Tower itself. Blessings!

Hi Derwyn. Welcome to the site! I think you will definitely find a lot of people here that share your interests. Can't wait to see you around. I've always been interested in Reiki, but haven't experienced it yet myself. Is the fire dancing you do poi dancing?

Thank you! Yes, I spin poi, use hand torches and fire fans. I have yet to pick up the staff, I'm not sure it's my style.

I think Reiki is a great tool for self healing and integrating with other healing modalities. I would look into it, at least for the self healing aspect. I also feel like we all have the ability to manipulate the energy around us, even without Reiki. That's how I started.

Aww WOW! Thank you everyone! What a gracious and warm welcome! I'm not surprised to see other D&D players on here. I've been playing since I was 12 and I love it! I even played the WoT version for a short time.

I've been spinning for about 9 years, although I haven't had much time to do it lately. What about you?

Ixialdor, if I can fire dance without setting myself of anything else important on fire, pretty much anyone can. It's much less dangerous than it seems as long as you know the proper safety precautions.
