I have a question, I'm drawing my avatar and I'm going to be working on getting it nicely colored and a decent background etc. but I'm applying to the tower and I need an avatar asap :x can I make another drawing of mine my avatar for now, and change it when my real one is done? Its the same character, but the placeholder is a character sketch, my avatar is basically going to be a drawing of me if I was living in Randland. Closest country to how my family is is Arafel
Not trying to cause problems but I need an avatar asap and I don't want to rush my work x.x

You should be okay, so long as you don't enter the Tower with your placeholder as your face, as that will become permanent and you will have to petition for a change. Hope that helps.

Usually you should be okay even in that case, as IIRC avatar changes are fine as long as they are the same character. Send an email to membership@tarvalon.net just to clear it up though, but you should be okay.

I do like this avatar, but alas, the owner of the image is Disney, and there is virtually no way to request permission. I tried. For 2 years.

The artist that owns my avatar has said that it's fine for me to continue using it but he's asked that I revert it back to the original. I had made it sepia which he'd been happy with me doing but he's changed his mind. So I'm now a little bluer.
