Well I'm an old timer that has not been active since some big changes. Like opening Gaidin and Sedai to both genders. Also I have not really been active as much since we got a new Amyriln. Lots of changes!

Anyway thought I would reintroduce myself for all the folks who might not remember me or know me at all.

I'm a Brown Ajah Sedai from Texas. I'm 31 years old. I have two kids 9 and 2. I have been a member since 2004. I am going to go back to school for my nursing degree when my husband finishes his MBA here at A&M.

Clearly loving to read is a given but I'm a avid fan of audiobooks these days. Some audiobooks can even take a good book and make it better with the right nararator. With the kids I rarely get to sit with an actual book. This way I can do stupid chores like laundry and dishes while being entertained.

Luna I think facebook (have have a ton of tower people and sometimes new tower folks add me as well because I'm probably suggested to everyone) and periotic drop ins has in way made it feel like I never left. I just never posted outside of the Brown Ajah forums and very rarley there either. Usually summer clean up reminds me to pop back and at least look around, lurk in #wheel and when Im satisfied the place has not burned down I check out again. Plus the color scheme is the same which is comforting.

Nice to meet you Cahalan. You are everywhere! A very blue trait. *nods* Glad to see the blues are still ploting and being the tower herddogs. (Thats not meant as an insult. I re read it thought well maybe thats not sociable but Im leaving it.)

Ah, yes. Facebook. A blessing and a curse. I often wonder why TV.net people who take time to be active on Facebook don't spent at least half as much time being on the boards. For me, I try to check TV.net once a day at least, just to be up to date with things. When I let things pile up and have a bajillion threads to look at and maybe reply to, it becomes a bit daunting, so I try not to let it happen.

Welcome back and nice to meet you! I, too, have come to love audiobooks for the very same reason! While my kids are now 18 and 13 I did my entire last read-through of WOT using audiobooks while driving, chores, you name it. I even caught a lot of new details because I was listening and not reading too fast.
