I am a little ashamed to say that I have not logged in here in three years. I joined in 2010, just turned 13 years old, and stayed active for two years. To be completely honest, I quit because I realised how young I was compared to the rest of you, and how I felt I didn't have anything to contribute with, even though you were all very including and welcoming. I think the reason I stayed for two years was that I really wanted to be a part of this community. So now, three years later, I feel ready for a second try, if you want to give me a new start(and forget my horrible grammar which is hopefully better now). My life is quite busy at the moment, but I hope I'll be a better novice this time.
I should probably start my introduction now.
As a 13 year old I thought the name Saya Nourena was a wonderful name to choose. My real name is Sara, and Nourena is nearly Norway in Spanish, so you can say I had a lack of creativity when I came to names. Luckily my sister named our cat. I am currently 17 years old, and as you might have guessed, my name is Sara and I'm from Norway. I've always been into reading and art, and I'm planning to study Illustration at uni in hopefully one year in the future. I'm a maniac when it comes to perfection. And I drink way to much tea and coffee. I feel this sums up me quite well, and I hope you want to take back a hopefully better version of me.
Now, the questions:
1. What is your favorite character in The Wheel of Time and why?
This changes every time I start reading a new book, but I really like Mat. Reasons? Because I can. I don't really have a reason. Nynaeve can be annoying, but I generally like her. Moiraine because she is the essence of Aes Sedai and the wheel of time to me. Siuan is just brilliant, no more to be said. Uhm, I'm in the middle of rereading, Tuon arriving soon, can't really recall what I feel about all of the characters, but I do really like Birgitte. I like Faile when she isn't such a jellyfish. I should stop now.
2. How did you find TarValon.Net?
By a desperate search for anything WoT-related.
3. What do you do? (student? job? hobbies?)
I am currently a student, upper secondary school/high school. I do have a part time job as a Graphic Designer. I paint, draw and sew when I can. I also love to read, attend any event related to culture, art, theatre, performances, you name it. And camping. Yes, camping is very important.
4. What is your favorite book or author other than Robert Jordan and The Wheel of Time?
Why do you ask me these difficult questions? I love most of fantasy books like Wot and Harry Potter etc. (Don't kill me, I have not yet read LotR). I really like Cecilia Samaritan's books. Also, I'm fond of Tore Renberg, though haven't read so many books of him yet. Johan Ajvide Lindqvist has brilliantly creepy books, but I'll stop here.
