As my mother Ashara mentioned above, she introduced me to the series. I didn't have to wait for them to come out either and that was certainly a blessing. I enjoyed the ability to read them back to back and not forget about those minor characters who always pop back up.
Other than Wheel of Time, do you have any other favorite books?

I love Robin Hobb, I have only read the first trilogy (The Farseer Trilogy) but I was very engrossed and finished it in around 3 weeks. Do you have any favourite books?

I actually just used a Wheel of Time name generator . But mixed and matched the names generated.

I've heard of the Farseer Trilogy, but I haven't looked into them much. Within the last few months I've discovered more of Brandon Sanderson's works, and I have to say the Stormlight Archives are quickly becoming one of my favorite book series. I also love Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes, Mistborn, and other fantasy series.

I've not watched the "making of" videos, but I have watched the movies many times. Don't get me wrong I like the books but for me the movies are better, which is odd because I typically always find the books superior to their TV/movie adaptation.
