Stephen has been a Soldier of the Tower since September of 2011. Since even before I took the position of Captain of Soldiers, I was impressed by Stephen's drive and focus to become one of the more active and valuable members of our community. Having the chance to receive his raising at a local event in Utah with his mentor present and many others there to cheer him on was simply appropriate in my mind for someone with as much promise as Lightheart has shown.
From his new brothers in SDS:
Congratulations again, Gaidin! I will miss being able to say you are one of mine, but I am proud to have seen you get to where you are today. Welcome Brother in Battle!

Azi said:I have known Stephen before he joined the Tower (though not long before), and have seen him develop in the community since. He's always been actively involved, and does care about the community.
Jeff said:I've known Stephan for about two years now. We met on another site and he's been absolutely fantastic throughout the time that I've known him. When he first joined, he had a little trouble accepting the fact that we were such a tight-knit community, simply because it seemed kind of silly to him, but in the past year he's really begun embracing that fact and he's definitely become one of us. He cares about the Tower, and the Tower cares about him. He always wants to participate and contribute more to the Tower, simply because he loves who we are and what we represent.
He found his home in SDS (through no influence of my own!), and I'm really glad that he seems to have found his place in the Bear Cave. Recently, he took up the duties of Welcomer, sending out PMs to newly raised Recruits and Soldiers, as well as those who begin Guesting with us. The guys really seem to like him, and he posts in our forum quite a bit.
Congratulations again, Gaidin! I will miss being able to say you are one of mine, but I am proud to have seen you get to where you are today. Welcome Brother in Battle!
