Congrats Ahmyra and White!
Some kind words from her new brothers and sisters:
I've known Ahmyra is White since I met her - it just took her a little time to figure that out. We had the unique experience of coming to the Ajah as Accepted at about the same time, and though she aspired first, I had the privilege of being raised first. Now, as I'm asked for my thoughts on her raising, I find myself struggling to know what to say. And all I can say is this: it's about damn time. This is overdue, in my opinion, though I understand the reasons why, so let's get it done already!
"I've felt like Ahmyra is already one of our Sisters for a long time now. I believe that's the best indication that someone's ready to be raised. Both online and in person, she fits in with the Ajah perfectly. I can't imagine the Ajah without her anymore.
Ahmyra has been with us for more than enough time and has proven that she is White over and over again. No one in the White Ajah is as emotionless as the Whites in the books are. However, we all share the search for truth, and Ahmyra is no exception. She would rather know the truth, even if it's unpleasant, than content herself with a pretty lie. She comforts our Sisters, Brother, fellow Aspirants, and Warders when we share unfortunate circumstances that happen in our lives and celebrates with us when we share good things that happen to us. In other words, she's family.
During Ahmyra's time with us she's gone through a lot of difficult circumstances, and she's found ways through them all. She's not afraid to admit when she needs help, either from the Ajah in the form of advice or insight into her current situation, or from others in her daily life. And she's shared the celebrations in her life with us, like her new job and her wedding. She sees us as her family. And I see her as my sister, no matter what it says under her avatar.
Thus, I recommend Ahmyra for raising to Aes Sedai of the White Ajah with absolutely no reservations.
