Why, hello there strangers! I go by Eldred. I was introduced to The Wheel of Time by my father, who was an avid follower of the series since the 90's. I never actually read the first book until I was in High School, but by the time I went to college I was hooked! I am now in the middle of The Path of Daggers and I hope to finish the series soon especially now that there is talk of a television show in the works!! *insert hesitant excitement here* I live in a teeny tiny town in southern Oregon with my husband, our baby son, and our dog. We just moved here and I’m REALLY bad at making friends, so I’m kinda lonely. Okay, make that really lonely. I had heard of this site before but had never actually taken the time to check it out. I’m a very young mother, and my son takes up a lot of my time, but I’m going to try real hard to make some friends and be an active poster here. I take a while to come out of my shell, but once you get to know me you'll find that I can actually be "pretty" cool. I would love to be friends with you!

Cahalan: I would have to say Mat is by far my favorite. I'm so upset that he's out of commission for The Path of Daggers! I've been rushing through this whole book to get back to him!
I even tried to convince my husband to name our son Matrim, but we compromised and named him Jack (he doesn't know about Jack o' the Shadows lol)

I'm glad you've decided to join us. You'll find that we many of us are introverts and many tend to be shy in person. For many of us it is much easier to get to know people in writing than in person. :P I think you'll fit right in.
