Cahalan: I would have to say Mat is by far my favorite. I'm so upset that he's out of commission for The Path of Daggers! I've been rushing through this whole book to get back to him!
I even tried to convince my husband to name our son Matrim, but we compromised and named him Jack (he doesn't know about Jack o' the Shadows lol)

Welcome, Eldred! I loved reading about your son. I, too, have a son and although I did not know it when I was pregnant - he reminds me more and more of Matrim each day. I'm not sure if that's good or not (he's almost 13 now) I also have a daughter who is a member here on the site, Elyss, and she is SO MUCH like Egwene. I completely understand how hard it can be, being a young mom and also having a hard time making friends. You are so very welcome here and we are all available to answer questions or just chat!
