I'm starting to think the coloring on the text is a little too light -- on the links, like if you're looking at the forum list. The more I stare at the forums, the more it's starting to fade on me. More contrast would be good.

THIS. It's the first thing I noticed. Also the quote button is usually on top. Having the reply/quote at the bottom in this layout kind of makes it look like you're replying to the post below it since the bottom border isn't as clearly defined as the top one.

EDIT: As an extension of the thread titles, the difference between new posts in a thread and a "read" thread doesn't seem like it's enough. That could be because of the colour though.

As per Viv and Leora, we're leaving it at AM/PM.

I'm having trouble with the font contrast on a LOT of things.

The light blue on dark gray in "my profile" was already mentioned, but I'm having a lot of trouble reading things like the white on light gray "Reply to Thread" button. "Previous Thread" and "Next Thread" at the bottom of the page (light brown on light gray) are also super subtle. Text contrast in general is driving me crazy. :P

It would look better if what's written as location and occupation is in same line as location/occupation not under it as it is now. Dunno if that's changeable though

can we have the forums set to a fixed width instead of fluid please? it looks so much better that way, and on high resolution monitors it just looks WAY to stretched out and all, very annoying.

Weren't the phpbb forums stretched out to fit the width of the monitor? They always were for me.

I don't know if this is happening for everyone, but the graphic at the top of the page is obscuring the links at the very top of the page (Notifications, Settings, Log Out, etc.). Because the text for those links is white, everywhere the graphic is also white, the links are invisible.

Don't know if this is in scope, but on the mobile browser, it shows the vBulletin logo, rather than a TarValon one.

As a temporary solution, might I suggest you don't have your browser in full screen, but a windowed screen instead. I have it that way and no issues seeing the buttons up top.

The thing which is really annoying me is that there is no easy way to distinguish at a glance if there are unread posts in a thread. Would it be possible to use different colours? I'm finding it very confusing that there are different colours for "hot" threads, even if there aren't any new posts

I agree with changing the white background...that shade of grayish that we had on the last forums was very very nice.

Also, is there a way to make it so that stuff in quote tags isn't automatically made italic?

Am I the only one that doesn't have a white background? :scratch Well, I mean the *true* background is white, but the background behind the posts is gray, and not overly bright. And the white-white background is only around the edges, so not eye-glaring.

Nope, you're correct, Karassa. But nevertheless the contrast between writing and background is very low.

*edit: http://www.spiegel.de/ for seeing the difference*

Just a minor suggestion, with the clouds background and the welcome and log out buttons in the top corner in white, it's difficult to see. Could there be some contrasting color for those tabs, please?

Comment #1: Awesome job & mad props to the design/move team. I am having no issues with the graphics or fonts and things seem clean and pretty easy to find for me.

Question: Is it possible that those of us with design skills (and I believe there are several of us) might actually be welcomed to submit vb themes we've altered/designed for consideration to be used - or maybe in the future there be contests to design additional official site themes that people can select from since there seems one theme may never be altered to make the general masses entirely happy?

I'm not having the problems that others seem to but I was wondering about having the other themes to choose from for those who are. I know this type of forum allows for one theme to be the default but for the user to choose another from those available... :cheeseeni:
