The cast, directors, showrunner, and producers all did a press junket in October. Amazon lifted the embargo on that today so everyone is publishing the articles they've had ready to go since then. I'm going to try to collect them here because there is a LOT of really great stuff coming out.
Black Girl Nerds (video)-- interesting bit, Rafe is complimenting Rosamund on her performance and describing how believable she makes it, mentions how she can "tell big stories about long-dead civilizations". Mayhap a Menatheren speech is coming????
Josha and Marcus at Winter is Coming (text). Seems to confirm certain fridging rumors.
Gamespot (text)-- Rafe says he envisioned the Aes Sedai a bit like the medieval Catholic Church.
Big Gold Belt (video) plus a few other interviewers and with Zoe and Maddie (huh? They're a wrestling site??? ok [shrug]) -- emphasized how extremely well the characters have been casted, plus a detail on the colored water scene with a James Bond reference. Here's their interviews with Marcus and Josha.
Slashfilm (text)-- we find out about an ER trip Rosamund needed, and that Daniel Henney decided he wanted to play Lan in 2011 (I really like this interview).
Collider (text) has some great stuff on adapting the series, as well as a hint to a possible fight scene (staves, anyone?).
Nerdist (text) with another awesome Rafe interview on what was important to show about our EF5 in the first episode. Here's their video interview with everyone.
Bingetown (video)-- some interesting questions that weren't totally typical. Another set of interviewers. That Nynaeve cave pool scene was a heated pool.
Three if by Space (text/video) -- seems to indicate that Zoe and Maddie have decided to read the books as they're being adapted. They know the big points that are coming for their characters, but don't seem to have read beyond Dragon Reborn, probably.
Gizmodo (text)-- great breakdown of gender dynamics, reincarnation, etc.
Nerd Caliber (text)-- a look at just the costuming based on first three episodes.
Screen Rant (video)-- Rafe gives a detail on the Andor Inn Tour and pacing.
Overall it looks like they are casting quite a wide net on press, but being deliberate about it. They're pitching themselves toward nerd/geek mainstays, but also making sure that BIPOC sources and platforms get a chance at interviews and such. The fact that they seem to be willing to throw the doors open fairly wide as far as media/press is a great sign to me-- producers/studios who are worried it won't be well-received tend to limit this more.
ETA 11/13/2021:
Interview with Zoe Robbins at Stuff, a NZ website (she's from NZ) (text).
Interview with Isis Mussenden, costume designer, at Gold Derby (video). "These women are not princesses, they are working women."
