I would like to thank my outgoing members: Avery D'Itkarya, Neria Hawke, Anarie De'Thain, and Luna Morn. You ladies have made this a great term and I will miss y'all! :grouphug
With that said:
The Welcome Committee can be a very fulfilling position here and is open to anyone regardless of rank! Now for the qualifications.
Duties
--Spend approximately 5-10 hours a week welcoming new members,
answering their questions, and generally being available for them. You
will be, in many instances, new members' first contacts within our
community.
--Help with special activities and Feast Day events, for example altering avatars.
Requirements
--You may be of any rank.
--You must have been a member in good standing for three months.
--You must have a good knowledge of the Membership Manual, our Bylaws, and how our community generally works, specifically pertaining to
Citizens.
--You must know where to find answers to questions that new members may have.
--You must have a love and excitement for helping our newest members
find their way around TarValon.Net.
We are looking for people who are eager to be part of this committee
and who demonstrate a sincere willingness to understand how this
wonderful place we call home can be labyrinthine to new members.
No previous experience is necessary, of course, however please include
anything in your history you feel will be an asset.
You will report to me, the Mayor, I am looking for three
people to form this committee. If you are interested and meet the

WELCOMING COMMITTEE - YOURNAMEHERE" as the subject.
