- A background check will be required for this position.
- Must be a legal resident authorized to work in the United States.
- Previous experience in an admin job with TarValon.Net is a plus since you'll be working across different departments and closely with the other Officers and Department Directors.
- Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping and finance is a plus, but not required. What is required is the willingness to learn how to track incoming and outgoing payments, generate monthly reports, file taxes with the IRS, prepare budgets for executive/Board approval.
- This individual will need to be extremely detail-oriented and self-motivated.
- A member in good standing at TarValon.Net for at least 1 year.
Major responsibilities include:
- Manage accounts payable & receivable including tracking fundraising.
- Preparation of internal financial statements, budgets, cash flow, monthly reconciliations, projections & forecasts for the Officers and Board of Directors.
- Assist event planners (DoE&C, Mistresses of Revels, Official Event Local Liaisons) in developing budgets and financial processes (contracts, etc.) for official events.
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks and filing of insurance, legal, taxes, and governmental reports as required for US non-profit organizations.
- Supervise internal control processes & provide reports as required.
- Responsible for coordination of the financial annual report.
- Participate with other Officers/Board of Directors in evolving financial processes.
- Assist in financial evaluation of charities for inclusion in TarValon.Net official fundraising efforts.
