  • Yesterday someone saw me reading Lotr at the cafe and said ''Oh I watched the movies, they were silly.'' I was almost both Brown and Blue Healing him.

    A such a fantastic story. I was reading C. Tolkiens book about Numeonor last night at a bookstore / cafe...but couldn't put the money down for it. Not sure yet.

    Yeah, Unfinished Tales, Beren&Luthien, Fall of Gondolin and the Fall of Numenor are kind of academic books about Tolkien's lore. They are not a complete story in themselves. They focus on a particular timeline and tell you the every version and changes made by Tolkien in that timeline.

    Oh, if you want to see a city full of history in Turkey, then your first choice should be Istanbul.
    Bonfires dot the rolling hillsides, Figures dance around and around, to drums that pulse out echoes of darkness, moving to the pagan sound..

    I somehow had never heard this before, but I looked it up because of your status and have been playing it on repeat ever since <3

    Wow, such a beautiful music, thanks!

    And Lyndo Strikes Back:

    Bonfires dot the rolling hillsides.
    Figures dance around and around
    to drums that pulse out echoes of darkness;
    moving to the pagan sound.
    Somewhere in a hidden memory
    images float before my eyes
    of fragrant nights of straw and of bonfires,
    dancing till the next sunrise.
    Hello :) I didn’t want to disrupt the flow of the “Ask and Answer” thread so I’ll ask here instead. What other bands/musicians do you like? I’m always interested to learn of new music, especially those classified as “World Beat”.
