I have not read any of his Spire series. I've been tempted, but haven't actually gotten around to it yet. It's good to hear that you recall liking the book, but definitely frustrating to not remember the plot. I hate it when that happens.

I think it's a problem for me when there is only one book. I need a second, at the very least, and prefer 3-5+ to really get to know the characters. But I have a habit of picking series from prolific writers, so I'm spoiled.

It was the first book in the Vows and Honor Duology that got me hooked. Alberich, all the way!! Come to think of it, that would have been a great name to choose for the site. LMAO!!!

Do you have any other favorite characters? Favorite books in the series? I thought Karal was really well done.
