I have a feeling that she is protective of her art. The artist is the author Janny Wurts, and it's an image of the character from one of her novels.
I'll still email her. I'm just gunshy on asking if it's okay.

An image of Korendir, the main character from Master of Whitestorm by Janny Wurts. She is the artist as well, so I asked her to use her art. I haven't heard back yet, but we'll see if she does answer.

I really enjoyed the book. SO much so that after reading it, I picked up the audiobook and listened to it. It is most fantastic.
