Aes Sedai
Congratulations to out newest Gray Aes Sedai - @Kymo Ambray !
Here are some of the lovely words her Ajah had to say:
~Kymo is a staple of the Gray Ajah. She has never been very active outside of the Gray Halls, but she is an institution. She exemplifies every characteristic of what it is to be a Gray. She is kind, giving, thoughtful, diplomatic, and open-minded. Even her contribution shows how dedicated she is to the site - she made keychains for all the Grays at the time and mailed them out - from South Africa! - which means she paid a lot of money to ship keychains across continents and oceans, out of love for the Grays.
In at least seventeen years of being an Aspirant of the Gray Ajah, I have known her for nearly thirteen of those years. She may not be very active on the wider site, but she always comes back to Gray after her LoAs. Kymo absolutely deserves to be an Aes Sedai, even though she's been a full Sister in my heart for over a decade. ~
~About time to raise Kymo to Aes Sedai. She have been aspirant like forever, and always come back. And she's also true Gray, since she take Gray minute all the time <3~
~While I personally don’t know Kymo well, I am really happy to see steps being taken to acknowledge her after a ridiculous amount of time showing up and clearly having an interest in our community!~
~Kymo absolutely gets my recommendation for raising because if I made it to SM, then someone with 3-5 times the loyalty to the site and Ajah compared to me totally deserves to be raised.~
~Kymo has been a member of Tar Valon since 2003, and a member of the Gray Ajah since before I even joined the site. She's not always the most active but that has never stopped her from coming back time and time again for almost two decades. She's an amazing person who truly should have been raised long ago. I know others have phrased this better but I'd truly love to see Kymo finally awarded with the title of Aes Sedai and I know it will mean a lot to her to finally become a senior member.~
~I consider Kymo as an integral part of the Gray Ajah, she was there before I even began Guesting with the Gray Ajah and she has always remained with us. Even after all the changes the community went through, Kymo comes back to the Sitting Room (and now the Discord server) and starts chatting with all the new people. I believe the rest of us want her to be in the Chambers even more than she does. I believe that our acceptance of her is what already makes her a full Aes Sedai and I really hope she becomes one. Please please raise Kymo! Kymo fo Aes Sedai 2022! ~
~I've known Kymo for a long while now. She's been around when I first joined Gray. While she wasn't always very active when she was her activity was productive and meaningful, especially for the Gray.
When I came back to the site I was surprised that she is still Accepted. I have expected she would have already been raised as she has always felt like one of us. The fact that each time she comes back she stays with Gray proves her commitment to the Ajah.~
~I'm late to the party, but all I can say is: the site has failed Kymo if she still isn't an Aes Sedai. She should have been raised years ago.~
~Kymo has been around Gray since before I began Guesting with Gray. She comes and goes at random times, never staying active too long but ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS coming back again. Kymo has demonstrated a literal lifetime of commitment to being a part of our community, and for that long-term dedication to coming back again and again, I believe she deserves to be Raised to Aes Sedai of the Gray Ajah. Thank you for considering our heartfelt request to have Kymo formally acknowledged as our Gray Sister.~
Congratulations once again Kymo, this is long overdue!
