Denver is very expensive right now, but I have found/seen some deals for Tenessee..also, if I can go..closer to the date, I'm going to bid on priceline.
Throwing this out there..
If we could get 15 people out of one airport at the same time, we could ask for a group rate and 1 ticket would be free (16 people) we could split the cost of the free ticket and all get a little deal..but that will be closer to the date..
Yelenia, just wondering about how many people can the place accomodate? Also, is there a hotel/motel near by??
Having only been to one Anni..the 10th where we had much more than 80 people attend, it seemed good for me to ask.
I'll have to re-read the original post..thanks for pointing it out Adolla..
The 11th Anni is looking to be a big one..at least imo.. Mother will be retiring and turning over her position to Viv...
I'm glad we have the option of renting extra cabins..
Well, fish guts. I don't think I can make either of those events. :grumble I'm pretty sure one of the conferences I'm submitting abstracts to has their event on the Fall Ball weekend, which in all honesty would be the closest one for me. :cry
Estes Park is so PRETTY! I wanna go again, but as always it depends on a bunch of factors, many of which are out of my control. Getting time off with the kids being in grade 10 is going to be icky, I fear :/.
Fall Ball's out for me, it overlaps with our holiday to Arizona/New Mexico/Texas. Anni, now ... . Maybe, depends on funds. Unfortunately, I doubt I can persuade the Lovely Man to come with me and we've a future Colorado/Utah trip being planned for 2012/13 anyway. But I'm still sore at having to miss Euro Anni 2011 (another holiday date clash). *goes off to check out costs of flights to Denver*
Keisha, I'm sure there are people planning to drive up from Atlanta, but there is also a shuttle service that runs from the Atlanta airport up to Chattanooga. It costs, and I can't recall the exact price, but it's less than the price difference for flights. The shuttle service also runs from the Nashville airport if anyone is thinking of flying into Nashville to save money and can't find anyone driving.
ooh good to know! Looks like it's $39 one way or $73 round trip NAS-CHA, and same for ATL-CHA. Shuttle gets you to the airport so you'd still have to work from there, but it's a start!
