Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum, in fact this is the first and only forum I've joined. I'm 43, live in Texas, love to read, play guitar, work hard during the week and play hard on the weekends.
I'm a huge fan of the fantasy genre in books, movies, art, games, you name it. This series is my favorite of all fantasy series books.
I first started the Wheel of Time series back in the mid '90s but halfway through book four I had to stop because it was too much at that time to give it the attention it deserves. But last year I started all over from book one. The depth and scope of these books is just amazing. And the way the characters are fleshed out with their own attitudes and opinions and personalities was extremely well thought out. The size of the series too is awesome....14 novels. Each one has at least 600 pages. That's got to be a world record. I hope one they can make these books, this amazing, complex, intricately detailed work of literature and put on the screen. Any screen. And stay as true to the material as possible. I love these books.
