Psst... If you don't want the link to take up too much space, you can always shrink it to just a word or two. :) Go to Settings, then Edit Signature on the left, and then select the words "avatar by wlop". One of the icons above the text window should be a small globe that says "Link" when you hover your mouse over it. Select that, and then insert the link to the artist's gallery - whoever clicks on it will be led to it. :D

A small warning, though... I happen to be following the artist on deviantart (big fan of his work!), and while it doesn't exactly say anywhere that his work can't be used without a permission, I think it would be polite to maybe put "avatar by wlop" in your sig, or something similar. ^^

I'm afraid pretty much everyone here is using someone else's work. :lol Except people who are skilled enough to do their own avatars... Are you by any chance thinking of making your avatar yourself? Either way, there's no pressure for you to get one until you apply to be a Citizen. :) Oh, and I guess you can always ask for a permission to use an image, even though you don't always have to - if that's going to make you feel better. ;)
