What is your favourite aspect of the Wheel of time books?

I like how Wheel of Time has strong male and female characters working together. IN most other books there is only one strong character -- or if there are two strong character than they are enemies. It is great to see all the layers and plans. I can never guess what will happen next!

I, too, was enthralled with the characters (and their fantastic names!). I found the depth of each character as well as the uniqueness of each fascinating, and, like many have already mentioned, the real feel of the world. It's easy to relate, and that drew me in quickly.
