Our first fundraiser of the year is going to spotlight what a community member has done to be a Servant of All. This member has turned a personal loss into love and help for others. Their efforts have resulted in a foundation with a 501(c)3 status.
FEBRUARY 3-JUNE 15, 2023
David's Nightlights was founded by our own @Alora Sionn after the passing of her son. Her motivation, she says, was "That first December I thought since I was denied all the joyful times we should have had together, I would bring little gift bags to the place he spent his whole life in his honor, to brighten the days of other NICU moms that were spending the holidays without their babies at home."
The goal of this organization, as per Alora, is:
"Our main goal is to be a Light in the Darkness to the families and nurses of NICU babies by showing that we’re thinking of them, providing gift bags to the families with little things that are needed but often get overlooked when you have a lot going on."
Full details of her journey will be available in an upcoming issue of the TarValon Times, so make sure you stay tuned.
Our Goal: In the mean time, please join us in helping her organization bring that light by helping us put together enough items for 4 gift baskets for NICU babies and parents.
The items can be bought through their wish list here: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2WANLRUY1HDI4?ref_=wl_fv_le
And, thank you, Alora, for the light you bring.
