I am soo happy you are too! You were one of my best friends on here, it made my day that you remembered me! *pulls out stash of marshmallows* Here you go. I got them to put in the cocoa, but they're the big kind.

I can't wait until it cools down enough here to actually be able to sit by a real life fire, this summer has been brutal.

And as far as the heat, lately it has been a choice between shorts and my thighs chaffing, or pants and heat stroke.

Actually even our summer has been pretty hot. I got soaked yesterday leaving work in a downpour but it's still warm. Fingers crossed for sunshine on Saturday!!

I actually cut up some of my old leggings to wear as shorts so I could wear skirts and dresses without getting blisters

Anyone want a marshmallow?

That is a good idea. I have been kicking myself over my decision to walk my son home from school everyday. It's not far, but in the heat I feel like I'm in the desert scene in Spaceballs.

Just trying to get things restarted here. Thank you for responding to my application so quickly. I'm finally doing better, but I kinda had a bit of a breakdown, emotionally, and it was tough there for a while, but I am doing much better and wanted to come back. It just took me the better part of the last three years to get to this point. On the other hand, I haven't felt this good since...well, I can't remember when, really.

How do you like being Mayor?
