New to the website as of Oct 21st, just wanted to say intorduce myself.

Hello everyone. I am currently in graduate school seeking my Master's Degree in History, I am hoping to someday be a professor at a university. I have been reading Wheel of Time since I was 15, well kind of, I read books 1-9 at 15/16, then recently started a re-read so I can finish all of the books. It has been my favorite book series over the years. I am about to finish book 8, so I have not even hit new content yet! :P

I do not write on any other forums, so I am hoping to make a nice home here, for the community as well as the questions that will arise once I hit the new content.

Cheers everyone, oh I am in Indiana if anyone was wondering.

Indianapolis. About 4 hours from you. Did you see the Colts game last night? Manning vs Luck War of 1812, was epic til the last second.

Question: I notice everyone's Avatar has a face shown in it, do I have to change my Avatar so he is not wearing a helmet?

You don't have to change it. We have a couple of helmet heads around here. You may want to resize it to 110 X 170 to match everyone else's.

I am not all that computer savvy, no idea how to re-size it or where to even begin to do such a thing, otherwise I would.

As regards resizing -- if you still have/can find the original (or a larger copy?) of the art for your existing avatar, it can easily be cropped or scaled to size. If you ask nicely, one of us can do it for you, if you have the art.
