So I should have just announced this at the same time we brought out the admin meeting results, but I was overly optimistic :P
Last monday I had an outpatient surgical procedure and have been recovering from that. I've found that my endurance is pretty pathetic really :P (lost a race with a guy using a walker last week
and just woke up from a 2 hour nap in the middle of the day).
What has made my access even more sketchy is dealing with a lot of really rough stuff health wise in my family as well this week (every day we've been up at the hospital - where the walker guy kicked my butt :P ) and have only been able to read the boards from my phone from time to time so I've been trying to follow the threads in the admin forum but haven't been able to reply. Thank you so much to all of you for participating in those discussions and to all of my fellow officers and executives who have been answering your questions and concerns.
Now I shall be going home to my own house tomorrow, where I'm going to try and get to a couple people who I know for certain are waiting for email responses from me. Then on Thursday my parents (who fly in from Germany Wed. night) and my sister and her family are taking me up to the mountains where we don't have internet at all and I'll be back to my phone. I'll be home for a couple days over the next couple weeks but I don't know exactly when, so won't try to guess. I'll be home with everyone on their way home as well in time to start my first day back at work (took 3 weeks off at my surgeons recommendation) on Wed. May the 9th.
This is why I've been very scarce this month and unfortunately it's going to continue through that first week in May. If you need something urgent from me please be sure to EMAIL me which has a much higher chance of reaching my attention than anything here. Remember though that if it has something to do with a department then make sure to escalate through the appropriate director or Leora Sedai first beore sending it my way.
I wil be back full time once I've gone back to work, so I'll see everyone then! Thank you everyone :grouphug
