The Amazon Originals are pretty good. And they have a lot of old series that are bingeable for nostalgia. It's one of those things that can be worth subscribing for short periods of time and just cancel when boredom hits.
Also students can get Prime free for like 6 month period runs.
So I never order from Amazon and the only things I watch on Netflix are Umbrella Academy and Altered Carbon. However, I heard Prime has Doctor Who... can anyone confirm this? Doctor Who and WoT would definitely qualify as worth it to me.
I can confirm this.
Looks like they have these:Is it both classic and new Who?
In the USA, Prime lost the streaming rights to Doctor Who at the beginning of 2020. Now you would have to purchase episodes / seasons to watch it there. Supposedly it's all included on HBO max now. Alternatively it looks like seasons 1-10 of modern Who are on netflix in the UK so any decent VPN should let you watch that without resorting to complete piracy.
Luckily Pluto is free and has an entire Classic Who channel. What else is on Prime worth watching?:scratch
