Hello, all!
I am Illinger Covale'rahien, though people from JordanCon know me better as "Bill Bill Bill".
Q: What is your favorite character in The Wheel of Time and why?
A: Thom Merilyn, because he's a natural born comedian at heart.
Q: How did you find TarValon.Net?
A: Funny story... Once upon a time, I was a citizen here. Unfortunately, this was a long time ago, before I was serious about WoT fandom and wasn't caught up on the books yet. So, I didn't post very much and eventually forgot what my name and login were. Since then, I've made many wonderful friendships with various Tar Valon members at JordanCon and the small group of us in the Boston/NYC corridor that meet every so often.
Q: What do you do? (student? job? hobbies?)
A: I was Computer Science major in college. I currently run a small IT firm in Connecticut. And for fun, I play Magic on the weekends.
Q: What is your favorite book or author other than Robert Jordan and The Wheel of Time?
A: Favorite author (not named Robert Jordan)... It's been a long while, but I loved reading Michael Crichton as a young adult. Favorite book, is a tough call. But favorite series (not named "Wheel of Time"), would have to be Frank Herbert's "Dune"; though I've not yet gotten around to picking up his son's continuation of the series.
Q: More interested in one-on-one interactions or perhaps feeling a little bit shy?
A: Depends on the interaction, I suppose. The first few years at JordanCon, I was a little bit like Raj on "Big Bang Theory", in that my shyness was inversely proportional to my blood-alcohol level.
Well, that's one post down... 24 to go, to get my citizenship reinstated. Best get crackin'.
