I was a member here more than a decade ago, but life happened and I lost that email address, among other things. I recently convinced a friend of mine to start reading the books, and I'm not one to let someone wade into a new obsession. She's joining along with me here, and I have every intent to get her fully-immersed in the series.
As for me? I'm 35, and a stay at home parent. I homeschool my son because I had too many problems with the way his teachers... well, didn't. I knit and crochet, and I like to travel and try new things. I love World of Warcraft, reading and cooking. I'm an open book; there's no such thing as TMI to me. I think that's a direct result of giving birth.
I try to make sure my words don't come across as being abrasive, but I can be terribly sarcastic and I know that's hard to interpret online. If you're ever not sure what my intent was, please ask me.
