Greetings fellow like-minded people. :} I waited until AMoL was completed before I read the last three books of the series. I did it that way in case Sanderson screwed it up, I could get right to the ending without having to suffer months in-between books hoping it got better, ha. I feel he did a very good job. He's not Jordan, and I needed to remind myself of that a few times. Mostly at his incredible over usage of the word "tempest". GRRR! But his way of writing did make me like Mat more, he was indeed hilarious at times.
I am somewhat depressed by the ending...I'm hoping to find a thread or two on theories here to help me cope with it!
Anywho, I read that this is a good way to do an intro, so at the risk of being too classic, here I go:
1. Favorite WoT character and why? Nynaeve. She's passionate and opinionated, and will bend over backwards to save someone.
2. How did you find us? The great oracle google.
3. What do you do (student, job, etc)? I have a degree in Psychology, but my experience is in all manners of paper pushing. As for hobbies, I collect foreign currency and travel all over to try new coffee shops. Still searching for that magic cup of joe.
4. Favorite book/author (other than WoT)? JRR Tolkien, JK Rowling, Jane Austen, Lilith Saintcrow, Cherie Priest
5. Anything you need help with? Not yet....but I'm sure they'll come a time when I do!
Pleasure to meet you all. May you find water and shade!
