I lost my face..Help me get my Avatar back!

Okay's after much fiddling around and PMing folks and getting the right info. My new avatar still won't load. I went to the "my accounts" thingy and edit and did all the right stuff, but zippo, zilch :scratch

Can you help, please? I got stuck with my Bel Tine avi for a while. I finally got rid of it, but now I can't get my normal one back.

okay, I'll have to ask for the same thing. I had not had any problems at Bel Tine but after the reveal of the Black Ajah I can't get my normal avatar back, although I keep trying. after the latest try, and refreshing the cache, it still doesn't seem to work, so I would love it if someone else could try.

I'm not seeing it yet, but at this point I could almost wait until Sunday and then see if trying to switch to a festival avatar helps. either way, thanks!

I don't know if this helps but I had the same issue. However, I've found that I can change my avatar successfully if I don't delete the current one. Just choose the new pic to upload in the My Account - Edit area. I've just tested it and was able to change my avatar every time. No cache clearing or anything. That's using Chrome on a MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard.

hm, thanks, I just tried that but it doesn't seem to work either. of course, by this time, I had already deleted the old one anyway, but I'll keep that in mind next time I make a change.

I don't know if this is the right place for it, but seems the Avatar adding function is down. I think it knew that I finally got my Avatar ready to post.

Verscen: You need to go to the "My Account" in the left side menu here. NOT to the User Control Panel. In the "My Account" you will find a place where it says Edit. Click on that. On the page that appears you upload the avatar from your computer. Remember to hit Save.
