Cool, I've played original Catan so much that I can basically play on autopilot now (like I know where I'll want to build roads, cities, etc. without thinking), so I'd be interested in playing the variants at some point.
By epic scale, I mean that One Piece contains an overwhelming number of characters and plotlines that constantly intersect in surprising yet logical ways. Everything is interconnected in a way that most other series have not achieved. In my mind, Naruto and Avatar are not even close (I've read all of Naruto and watched all of Avatar Last Airbender & Korra) to the scale of One Piece. They don't have nearly as much complexity, the cast is much smaller, and both the main characters and side characters have fewer connections to each other.
I've seen Code Geass (just the original series) but not Violet Evergarden. I really like Code Geass because I found the ending to be extremely satisfying. But it doesn't reach level of my favorite, because I don't care for the lighter "regular school life" episodes and would have preferred a tighter edit that was focused on the A-plot and faster paced. I've heard good things about Violet Evergarden and would like to try it at some point!

Lol thank you! Honestly, it's not much different than jobs in any other industry. We have periodic openings and you apply for one that you qualify for. I started at a low level sales job and am working my way up through the company.
