Cinna Vrammar
Aes Sedai
It's Roh Sedai's fault I'm here. For a variety of reasons. (Speaking of which: Look Roh, it only took me a week to post! That's like, WAY less than half as long as it took to get me to make an account in the first place!)
I read WoT starting sometime around 2006, when I was a freshman in high school, because my sister was already friends with Roh and I sat with them at lunch and Roh told me if I liked fantasy I should read these books. So here we are.
Might as well answer the other questions...
I'm not totally sure who my favorite character is anymore. It was once Perrin - I think I related to him a bit - but now it's probably Mat, because I just think he's the most fun.
I like to write, draw, play music (I play flutes of three sizes and saxophones of two), and otherwise be creative. I watch a ton of anime, read some manga, and hoard board games. Recently I started DMing a small D&D group. Work-wise, I currently work for a book distributor and have to spend way too much time staring at spreadsheets, but at least there are occasionally free books.
I'm from central New Jersey, and I primarily speak English, but I was that kid studying two languages in high school (and college). Those two languages were, for whatever reason, Latin and Japanese. I guess if you ever need to summon a demon I've got you covered.
I have way too many other "favorite books" other than WoT to list them here, but I'd say my favorite author other than Robert Jordan (or Brandon Sanderson) is Tamora Pierce. Her work is actually some of the first stuff that really got me into reading and writing.
So, uh, I look forward to getting to know everybody, though I'll probably be mostly a lurker for a while!
