To answer your question Cahalan Sedai, i have definitely pictured myself in Randland and i most identify with being a citizen of Andor, though Cairhein is also tempting. The reason being that I view Andor as most like Canada, where i actually live, so it felt right to consider my self a citizen of there.

I guess I can see that. I always thought of Andor as British; I'll just expand it out to Commonwealth

I was always fond of Year, since my spirit animal Siuan was from there, but given my look and temperament, Kandor is probably more accurate. Or maybe the Aiel Waste.

So, Ky, how are you liking TV.N so far? Haven't been bitten by the Reds yet?

So far i'm loving it, everyone has been super welcoming and there are a lot of interesting and thought provoking book discussions going on that i can't wait to dive into. And no, i haven't been bitten by any Reds yet lol

Yeah i also thought of it as kind of British as well, especially with all the references to how prim and reserved Andorans seemed to be. There are just aspects of Andor and its people that i link to Canada and Canadians easily. Also their colours are the same as ours (red and white).

I didn't end up liking Tear much because of the huge gap between the nobles and the commoners in that country. Many of the most insufferable of the nobles that congregated around Rand were from there as well so it kind of put me off.
