We all knew D&D 5e well so we stuck to that system with a bit of homebrew and reflavoring and it honestly worked out really well.

I know you were hoping to play some D&D but had to bow out due to the headache.. so if ever WoT inspired D&D interests you, we actually released our campaign as a video/audio podcast Feel free to check it out and let me know what you think!!

The joke is that I tried to come up with an original Ogier name but my DM kept finding my suggestions a tad off-brand (too harsh sounding).. we finally both agreed that Lior sounded beautiful and lilting.. and only realized later that we probably feel that way since it's so close to Loial. D'oh!

Welcome! The name does sound beautiful. In Hebrew, it means "my Light." I knew someone in my elementary school with the name Lior. His big sister was in my class and her name was Orli, the female version of the same name.
