Super excited to have found this community! I'm a longtime fan of the book series and I'm about to start the TV adaptation. I saw the post for the one off D&D session last night and, after having played and recorded a whole WoT inspired D&D campaign, I took it as a sign from the Pattern that I had to join this group.

The joke is that I tried to come up with an original Ogier name but my DM kept finding my suggestions a tad off-brand (too harsh sounding).. we finally both agreed that Lior sounded beautiful and lilting.. and only realized later that we probably feel that way since it's so close to Loial. D'oh!

A couple of us are doing a WoT themed session (modified) in a Written RP setting. We also are hosting a Western Marches campaign setting for the one-shots as well as have a couple ongoing standard campaigns happening (Feywild, Icewind Dale, etc).
