There are not as many pointy sticks and steaming red hot irons, but if you want, you can probably imagine it while taking it ;)[/quote:1jpjsdot]

Thank you, everyone! :joy

And, since I can't speak for other departments, I've asked the other Execs and Officers to stop by to tell you how they use the results. :)

What about some concrete answers? Like "we learned xyz and changed it to abc". The only concrete answers I see is the one about the 501 thing and the combination of Mundane and General. That it was somehow helpful for you as administration is not really helpful for us.

Well, the Membership Survey isn't actually done for you. It is done for the administration. Therefore, its usefulness to you is not in question here, but its usefulness to us is. It has helped us with our direction for the Guilds, it helped us with the bonding issues, it helped us with demotions, it has helped us with tweaking and fine-tuning our fundraising strategies, it has changed the direction of our online and offline events....it is incredibly useful to us in a variety of ways because it allows us to asked direct questions of our membership and get direct answers. So no, its direct usefulness to the membership is not actually the point, as it's not a tool for the membership. It's a tool for the administration.

Warning: when you fill out the survey, do not simply click on the currency converter provided on page 10, but open it in a new internet page. Because if you click like I did, then you lose everything you had done before :grumble :( :mad

Just clicking the link now should open it in a separate window. Apologies for not thinking of that myself! :P

And here was hoping that it would benefit all members of the site. Feedback needs to go in both directions.
