So on Bookriot today I saw this really cool idea.
They do passages from novels into scarfs!!! And pillows and gloves n stuff too. I love it!

Obviously due to copyright they have the following books in their selection...
Pride & Prejudice
Persuasion
Jane Eyre
A Tale of Two Cities
Romeo & Juliet
The Raven
Alice in Wonderland
Wuthering Heights
Sherlock Holmes
Little Women
Les Miserables
Anne of Green Gables

But you can order custom made ones. I think a passage would be approx. 450-900 words depending on whether you want it printed 4 times or 8 times on the scarf.

I was wondering what are your favourite WoT passages? Do you reckon any are wear worthy? Would you rather group random quotes?

I like the look of the snood things with the ribbons. I think Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell would suit something like that. Not sure about Wheel of Time stuff. I quite like the idea of picking a favourite character and getting a bunch of quotes about them together on a scarf :)

I would like to put some of Mat's funny quotes on a scarf but most people who read the scarf would not get my jokes ;(
Most of the books already available for passage selection are romance... Maybe I should quote Lan and Nyneave instead.

*thinks* I don't think a scarf with the History of the Aiel or the Prophecies of the Dragon would be of a wearable size...

You're certainly right if you think of the whole Karaethon cycle - but snippets of it? Two come to mind, the one ending in "weep for your salvation" and the one ending "no hope this side of death".

"The golden crane flies for Tarmon Gaidon"

I want that for a signature, but it is a bit of a spoiler :look:

"Twice and twice shall he be marked,
twice to live and twice to die.
Once the heron, to set his path.
Twice the heron, to name him true.
Once the Dragon, for remembrance lost.
Twice the Dragon, for the price he must pay."
"Twice dawns the day when his blood is shed.
Once for mourning, once for birth.
Red on black, the Dragon's blood stains the rock of Shayol Ghul.
In the Pit of Doom shall his blood free men from the Shadow."
