Horatio; welcome!
I'm quite glad to see
that you have now come
back to citizenry.

It's been a long time
since your face graced these halls.
our happiness will be sublime
if your RL monsters don't call.

Calypsa must be
one lucky Sedai,
if to her you're constantly
speaking in rhymes!

As for me I will say
you may always so speak.
Suess is my muse!
And yours, also, I see.

This very strange thread,
Gets into your head
You start typing in rhyme
All of the time.

I think I shall run;
Horatio - have fun,
I'll see you around,
Where less rhyming is found :look:

Dart Gaidin, the honor is mine
I once was a Recruit but ran out of time
for working and schooling ate up my soul
and now I have toddlers (I'm really quite old)

Kind novice Ealandrelle
thanks for your greeting!
the pleasure is mine
for the people I'm meeting!

With posts all in rhyme
I exercise my mind
though by Calypsa I've been cautioned
that I'd better be nice (since I am her husband)

:embarassed:

Oh geez, now I have to 'fess up to not only knowing you but sharing a home with you? There goes my sense of mystique.

The path was parted,
Yet you came,
To fill the void,
There was no shame.

Found we have,
A common ground,
For I too am new,
Around this odd sort of town.

Hello!! Sorry I did my best.

I Live in a House!
To all who have spoken 'till now
I appreciate your greetings, and how!
To those who used meter
your greets are much sweeter
And inspire me to keep my vow!

The oath that I've made to myself
And spoken to none but an elf:
To post only in verse
and never be terse
While storing my books on a shelf.

Sometimes my rhymes don't make sense
And for that you gave fifteen cents?
To hear an old man
Do the best that he can
But still claim his age in defense.

Age is just a number,
Not how you feel.
You can be older than Moses,
Yet feel like Spring Roses,
It's all how you feel.

I Live in a House!
Although I claimed old age
I really am no sage
no beard of white
or sayings trite
My ending's still off stage.

Of decades I have three
and years four more to see.
So worry not
that I will rot
Spring chicken I may be!

Ok, this as gotten fun!
Of regret for this I have none.
The rhymes stick in your head,
Til thy go to bed.
But sadly Class does start,
For now I must part.

Posting always in rhyme is a challenge
For rhymes can be tough to scavenge
things oft are obtuse
and tough to deduce
and there's 'most nothing that's rhyming with orange.

And then there is another big factor
is this making me a bad actor?
am I being coy?
or do I just annoy?
and to this am I a detractor?

I know not for no-one has said
that my rhymes make them want me quite dead
And thus do I post
and make the most
and with rhyming go full steam ahead!

Annoying people you may do,
But I have yet to hear a few,
Objections from those who are,
Above us and greater by far.

Enable you,
I possibly do,
For I am rhyming to keep up with you.
It's only hard if you can't see,
Past the words of you and me.
My rhymes are short and silly too,
But they make me laugh,
And not be blue.
