Coming back after... 7(?) years

Hello everyone!

Maybe some of you still remember me, I just stumbled over my badge from D*Con 2007 and after some pondering decided to give TV.net another shot. I used to be a Gaidin but that was an Age ago, so I am really looking forward to starting over as a Citizen and getting to know the new people and maybe some of the old ones who are still around Oh, and I was at that Euro Party somewhere in the Netherlands, though I forgot when and where... Dribergen or something?

I'm 28, live in Vienna, Austria. I've read everything that was ever published around the Wheel of Time (except for that Demandred short story... still haven't gotten around reading that) several times. I ran a German Wheel of Time community for quite a while though it has grown rather silent these last few years...

Anyway, love to hear from you people and get to know you! If you have any questions please go ahead and ask.

I was trying to catch up on the major changes by reading the MM and stickies and such but besides the Resident Citizens most things seem to be fairly the same. Any drastic changes I should know about to avoid pissing off everyone right away?

Alyccea, I might have been around then but not overly active. I don't really recall when I finally let a membership clean-up take me... But we probably never met, so hi!

Well, one of the most significant changes is the Integration. This means that men can guest with Ajahs and aspire to eventually become Aes Sedai, and women can be Warders, too.

@Luna: Ah, right. I've heard a rumor about this, probably from Sephrenia Sedai who is still around here if she is not lost in WOW but have not found this in the MM/stickies I've read yet, so I thought that was just a plan not yet accomplished.
Cool, I never felt entirely sure I wanted to be a Warder :P When was this changed? Have many yet started exploring the "foreign" paths?

Sephrenia Sedai is indeed still around

Integration began on January 1 of this year, so it's still fairly new. A number of Senior Members demoted to explore the other side, but they are unable to be raised to their new groups until 1 July. There are several male Ajah aspirants so far, and at least one female Company aspirant, and I'm sure there will be more as time goes on. It's exciting! :joy

Another major change would be that we have a new Amyrlin!

Also I just noticed that you're from Vienna. I've been there! It's such a beautiful city. I was only there for a day (as part of my European tour) but I got to see a classical concert and also the most impressive breakdancing to Mozart music that I've ever seen.
