Taika, I'm so sorry you're having trouble with this. I know that other folks from non-US locations have been able to donate so that should not be a problem. I also was checking on our progress this afternoon and kept getting logged out- it might be that their systems are not working in some way that is not taking payments and that is not currently letting me check either.
If you have some time to try again in a day or so, and the problem persists please let me know. Here is hoping that it is something small on their end that they will be easily able to fix.

Megana, regarding your dilemma, the best solution that I can offer is to paypal your donation to someone, another member perhaps, that you know and/or trust, to have them donate it directly through Partners in Health. I know that we have an awesome community of volunteers so I am sure that if you want to take this route, you'll be able to find someone.

Thank you- and do let me know how it goes. I am hopeful that this is jut a temporary issue but not sure when I will hear more back.

I was able to pay too, so I am sure it was just a glitch, Taika. Also, I am really excited about this year's charity! Everyone should be able to get basic medical care at an affordable price, no matter where they live or their financial status.

I use Chrome primarily as well and when I emailed them about our tech difficulties, they suggested a different browser. Maybe its an issue with Chrome and the servers 'n such that they use?
So sorry this is being such a pain for you.

We are doing very well ladies and gentlemen! We've raised over $500 already for this wonderful cause. If you are able to donate, any amount, it will be put to great use and be very sincerely appreciated! I am so elated to be part of a community that is able to do these wonderful things for the world and without your support, we'd not only not be able to do this- we'd just simply not be the same.

I just tried donating, but I've no idea if it worked, because I got a "page unavailable". So I'm not sure if money was actually transferred or not (and I probably won't be able to see it until after the weekend when the drive is over). Did what I could, so I can't really try again and accidentally give double. Unless someone actually knows what happened.

Tazren, email or PM me your RL name that it would have gone under and I can verify if it went through. Thank you so much for trying and letting us know!

We're in the home stretch people- lets make this happen!

I had that too, when I used Chrome, and the money didn't transfer. With Safari it worked, but I think the problem was with the phone number they wanted. With Chrome I just got the "page unavailable", but with Safari it told me my phone number wasn't valid. So I just left out the international code, and then it worked. Maybe try your phone number without the Swedish code?

Okay, I got it working now.

I tried Firefox, and I didn't add any kind of special characters anywhere. Wrote my phone number without the +46 (swedish code), wrote "a/o" instead of our "å/ä/ö/", etc. Not sure exactly which part the site didn't like, but it worked now at least.

Seems like maybe they should've had some sort of validation on that form ... if the entire service crashes from invalid data.
