What?!! That is so awesome! My husband and I have been trying to plan a trip to NY forever. This is so perfect.

Liiane, I would argue that every year we've gone to a place rich in things to do and see. We have been amazingly lucky in that members are willing to spend their time on bids, follow up questions, and helping run events. I hope that never changes. I love that I get to see different parts of North America through our events, and I hope that, too, doesn't change.

Yeah, I gotta say, I don't know how anyone can name the following destinations as not touristy:

Washington, DC
Orlando, FL (Disney World)
Toronto, Canada
Portland, OR
Chattanooga, TN
Las Vegas, NV
Richmond, VA
Albuquerque, NM
Kansas City, MO

The only FB that could really be argued to not be touristy was the cruise out of Ensenada.

Unless, of course, your definition of touristy is way different than mine.
