Our Anniversary Party 2014 is gearing up and only missing one thing: YOU!

Registration and payments are still being accepted until April 1st!

With our Hollywood theme night and Amyrlin's Feast, this party is going to rock! No, really, I think Elvis signed up under a pseudonym! :shifty

Register here and then drop in here to keep up with all of the things planned and to generally geek out!

I'll see you there! ;)

May's not that far off! ;)

Seriously though, it wouldn't be a hollywood party if it weren't where it is.

I wish it wasn't in May :(

I like that it's in May. :D The Tower's basically throwing me a birthday party, the weekend before my birthday! :giggle

(Disclaimer: I do not actually think the date was chosen for my benefit. :P I just like and am amused by how the timing worked out and, since I'm not planning a separate party, it amuses me to pretend. Other May babies are perfectly welcome to join me in so pretending. :D)

That it's happening over my birthday is the only reason I'm still undecided about going. I think it would be an awesome way to spend my birthday, but I don't want to spend my birthday without my husband, and he's not the type to have fun in a large group of people he doesn't know even if he's said he's willing to come if that's what I want to do.

We actually run in to this from time to time. Not everyone has to be with ALL the people ALL of the time. There will be quiet areas for him to relax by himself, there will be times for you two to relax as a couple, and there will definitely be no pressure for him to join groups or socialize. He can very much view it as a relaxing weekend for himself where he still gets to spend time with you.

Also, I'm so painfully awkward in social situations that I spend most of the parties kind of drifting around and watching others. They've all gotten used to it. :cheeseeni:

There is a very good reason that some of us only "socialize" on the internet. We do remember that and make allowances. ;)

I always find time to sneak away by myself. When my hubby's there, we take an afternoon away from everyone and get some quality time alone. :D

My husband is actually enochlophobic (not agoraphobic, that's way worse). He hates to be in large groups of people. He's come to one Anni and one Fall Ball and he's starting to kinda like it.

He's always had plenty of time to not be with others and still spend time with me. Heck, he even spent some time with my first-sister's hubby at Fall Ball because they neither one like big groups and could talk. :)
