We run two styles of events in Europe now - a conference style, which is similar to the ones we've traditionally had in bunks/barns/etc. over the years. And a Tourist event, which is more akin to the US style Fall Ball. There's plenty of flexibility

Timing - typically it's a month or two after bids close where we make the final decision around which bid is selected. We don't normally announce anything until there is a deposit on the location though.
