I'm halfway through Lord of Chaos...even knowing what was coming - and how this name starts a list in the story to come - still very apprehensive/sad

Go for it Nessa :) I've just started book 6 but I have 4&5 of another series waiting for me at the library, since they're on a time limit I'll read them first before continuing with Lords of Chaos Auri, it doesn't work for me. Even sweeping I end up standing still with the broom in the middle...

Auri, you are very welcome :D Im not a very fast reader but I do read alot. Good luck with the audio books, sadly I pretty much pass out if I stop and actively listen to audio books. Feel free to post in this thread or the Re-read along threads from earlier...definitely some interesting...

Given his age range, I imagine the majority of it was on paper too ...lots of paper :\

I wonder how much of the actual books he had written before he realized it was alot more than a trilogy...or was he thinking 'just one or two more books and its all wrapped up'?

Theolyn Sedai, Reading is my downtime, sanity, escape...so yeah I read alot. My EotW copy is in a similar state to yours by the sound of things. I don't leave it anywhere a breeze might get to it in case I lose some lol. Murun, I m not complaining about the story line itself, I've read it so...

So I've just finished bk2 The Great Hunt. I know I've thought this on previous reads...it feels like there shld b an extra chapter or two, or RJ couldnt decide where exactly to split this book with the next one... everyone is running around doing something, then they've almost all gone...

There were a few other meetings I wanted to quote but after loosing internet connection halfway thru the second quote above and retyping half of it (Thanku auto-save!) I ran out of oomph lol.

So I finished book 1 Eye of the World & have just started bk2 the Great Hunt. The first time we meet Aes Sedai &Warders...before anyone knows what they are... really made me smile with anticipation for the entire story yet to unfold Ch1 p26 Ch1p29

I think maybe probably it shld b moved to the bk 1-14 forum in case someone says (possibly me) we know this character did that in a later book Yes please move the thread Aduiavas Sedai

Its only the last cpl of books that I haven't read multiple times. Spoilers wont bother me. Reading other peoples takes on different bits and ideas will b interesting :arch

Yay thanx Theolyn Sedai. I read the first cpl of chapters last night. Figured I'd just read a few chapters then read some of the reread groups comments for those chapters. Maybe add a cpl of my own. But it will be great to have someone to share the ride with wahoo :lol

In honour of joining the site, I'm starting at WoT bk1 Eye of the World...going to see if I can catch up with the re-read group (currently on bk7 I think). And simply because I havent read the whole series for a cpl of years :-) Anyone want to join me?
