My name is Tanicus Perrilys, though that is most definitely not my true name. That will come in time, as people gets to know me better. I have in truth been a follower of Tar Valon for the better part of, well, quite a number of years. I have found the place to be a great source of information, and I find it to be the most reliable by far. Now, I have a few queries that I hope may be answered, even if I am uncertain that this be the right place to make such queries.
For one, I wish to know if I may be able to change my profile name to reflect the full length? That is Tanicus Perrilys. For I had utilized only my first name during my registration.
Secondly, I have been an avid reader of the Wheel of Time series for some time now, and in truth, I had learnt about the stories first and foremost through this place itself. The library is extensive, and wonderful. However, and I do not mean this as harsh critism in any way whatsoever, but I have in my recent reincursion into the libraries found a large deal of typing errors and even a few link errors, as well as some lacking in details in some summaries. In that regard, I wish to offer my services and assistance in running some editting, should it be welcomed. I had found I was unable to do any correction or edits until I have been accepted in some form.
I feel this would be the best way I am able to contribute to this community. I enjoy reading very much, and in my own ways, I am a writer as well, and I think reading is a skill that modern society is slowly losing an interest in, but it is my desire, as a storyteller, to see that it never disappears altogether.
I hail from South-East Asia, and am also a player from WoTMUD (Wheel of Time Multi-User Dungeon), a text-based RP/PVP/PK online game. I had even gone so far as to consult Tar Valon for maps and understanding on culture. Having spent this much time and years learning and gathering information from every possible source, I feel I am now ready to share back.
