Welcome to TV.Net! I have that same problem with reading too fast. I find that if I read small amounts at a time I don't speed read as much.

Did you by any chance take a break from your reading in the middle of book 4 for an oddly long time? I remember doing that myself, then kicking myself when I realised just which chapter I had paused for so long at ...
(Without giving spoilers, let's say it was a chapter just before one of the really major events of that point of the series ...)

Hello. I was trying to do the same thing, luckily I only had 20 pages left in book 9, so I at least finished re-reading that before skipping to AMoL. Now I'm back to CoT

Arecias I am struggling! I want to just speed through so I can reread AMoL again, but I have resolved to read slowly and comprehend the books this time. I've seen so many things on this board that I missed.

I know! I read KoD to AMoL so fast I know there's a lot of things I missed, I resolved to re-read the series before AMoL, but I was too weak
And a lot of posts I see on books 11-14 that I don't remember so I can't be part of the conversation!
